A little background on Bournemouth:
Lying at the mouth of the River Bourne, Bournemouth has the largest population of any town in Dorset and is a Coastal Resort town east of the Jurassic Coast. The first recorded use of the name is from the 13th Century when a monk noted a stranded whale at La Bournemowthe. Encompassed by Ancient History, spanning through the Bronze and Iron ages, all the way back to the discovery of a Paleolithic Encampment, along with its 1000 foot Pier (with a Theatre and Restaurant), beaches, and nightlife, Bournemouth attracts over 5 million tourists annually. Three Grade I listed churches in the town include; St Peter's, St Stephen's, and St Clement's.
